As much as Dr. Grisham loves smiles, she says it’s the relationships she forms with her dental patients that she cherishes the most. Helping people always feels great, but helping someone you truly understand and have gotten to know is even better. She’s eager to form this kind of bond with you and your loved ones, and below, you can start getting to know her.

Why Did You Decide To
Become a Dentist?

Buckhead Atlanta Georgia dentist Doctor Kristen Grisham

Dr. Grisham chose to become a dentist in order to help others find their smiles and be confident in presenting themselves to the world. She had an incredible experience going through braces and knew she wanted to help someone just like her. Each step of her career journey has been an affirmation of her passion. Going on multiple dentistry mission trips to Haiti, serving veterans at the VA, and joining our practice have all contributed to her love for creating smiles and serving others.

Where Did You Study
Dentistry?

Dr. Grisham attended Kennesaw State University before eventually graduating from the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. She worked as a dental assistant for three years prior to attending dental school, and after graduation, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency. She has also completed Essentials 1 and Essentials 2 through the Pankey Institute, one of the leading dental education institutions in the world. She is certified in Zoom! teeth whitening and an Invisalign/SureSmile provider.

Always pushing herself to improve, Dr. Grisham is a member of the:

  • American Dental Association
  • Georgia Dental Association
  • American Academy of Facial Aesthetics

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Doctor Grisham with her husband and child outdoors in autumn

Dr. Grisham and her husband Sean met while in middle school, and they now have two daughters, two dogs, and a cat. She comes from a family of educators, with her mom, dad, sisters, grandmother, uncles, and cousins all being teachers, so she considers herself to be the black sheep of the family. She does keep the tradition going, however, by taking extra time to teach her patients about their oral health. When she isn’t keeping up with her kids, one of her favorite things to do is watch movies with her extended family—her go-to snack is popcorn mixed with M&Ms.
