Why Did You Decide To
Become a Dentist?
Dr. Vason decided to become a dentist late in his college career. Initially, he majored in Finance and International Affairs, but he found himself wanting to do something more tangible. He felt that dentistry would allow him to work with his hands and build relationships at the same time. After realizing that dentistry checked all of his boxes, he dove in head first!
Dr. Vason has been especially impacted by dental mission trips with Medical Campus Outreach to Haiti and Romania, where he served alongside Kelsey, a Nurse Practitioner. These experiences reinforced his commitment to compassionate, thoughtful dentistry and to caring for patients as whole people. He is also an active member of Atlanta Westside Pres, where community involvement and service continue to inform his approach to care.
